mir sind ein paar interessante Neuigkeiten oder etwa gar "Gerüchte" unter die Augen gekommen, als ich u.a. folgndes in einer PDD-mailing-Liste las:
Hat von Euch schon mal jemad etwas Ähnliches gehört?
Es soll also in Deutschland die Ursache gefunden worden sein für PDD - PDD soll durch einen mutierten Impfstoff gegen die Newcastle-Krankheit bei Geflügel entstanden sein. Wie es auf die Papageien übertragen wurde, ist noch unklar. Naja, vielleicht kommt bei der angesprochenen Konferenz im März ja mal was Genaues raus?
Aber wenn ich an die ersten sog. PDD-Fälle in Südamerika so in den 70-er Jahren denke, da gab's dort doch eh' noch keinen Impfstoff gegen die Newcastle-Krankheit (=Geflügelpest) oder bin ich da jetzt auf dem Holzweg?
Naja, aber wir können ja mal alle die Augen und Ohren offen halten und schauen, ob es wirklich was Neues (aus Deutschland!!!
) geben sollte!

In the past there have times where researchers in the US and Canada thought "they had it" and it was a dead end.
